At Kingsway Church we will be doing something specific in prayer. Every few weeks, we will intentionally pray for a different Foursquare Church, learning what God is doing through them, in them and with their communities. Our goal is that by connecting to and praying for other Churches across Canada, God will open our eyes - we will see the bigger picture of how He is working and moving through the power of prayer in this nation. We will Look and Watch... (Habakkuk 1:5)

New Life Foursquare Church

About NLFC
NLFC is pastored by Gordon and Jacqueline Henry. Gordon, who was born in England but lived most of his life in New Brunswick where he met and married Jacqueline, moved to Cranbrook 6 years ago. A humble man, he sees his purpose /call as pastor is to love and support the people of NLFC, to help them grow and to prepare them for revival. He spoke of revival often and, having just returned from a missions trip in costa Rica, calls evangelism a primary concern for NLFC. NLFC is a church of about 125 aduls and 50 kids. Their vibrant youth group is lead by Jeff & Dee-Anne Crozier.
The leadership of NLFC sees as one of their top priorities the releasing of people intop their callings. They accomplich thi in part through discipleship classes that include: financial management, prophetic ministry, intercessory prayer and more. They also encourage growing leaders to help lead the homegroups.

Vision
A Revival Centre in Cranbrook :: Unity and Healing

Praise Reports
There has been an incredible spirit of unity & reconciliation growing amongst the churches of Cranbrook; in the past, there was much division & strife. However, they’ve begun to have reconciliation services four times a year between the different congregations - the pastors meet, then the other church staff and the whole congregations. They would ask forgiveness of each other, begin the process of communal healing, then take communion together. The spirit of unity has been fostering an atmosphere where God can show up.

A Pentecostal church with a new, young pastor was having major struggles with finances. The other churches in the region raised the money they needed and gave it to them as an act of love. The young pastor was floored!

NLFC was able to replace their roof and heating system despite financial strain.

Prayer Requests
They’ve had a succession of recent funeral, including a 16-year-old who died in a car accident. The slowing economy has hit some families hard, and the church has had some diffictulties too. There are people who very much in need of the physical and emotional healing that can come only by the power of God.

Yet Pastor Gordon says, “We’re having fun and enjoying His love!”
